| We only use select meranti, which is expertly machined. When assembling the parts to make up a door, careful selection of the timber, especially the colour is taken. We match the colour and grain of the timber as close as possible. | ||
| Only solid meranti is used. We believe that finger jointing (glueing) the timber will, in time, delaminate. All doors are weighed after assembly and, according to weight, the correct weight spring is used. It is of critical importance that your door is balanced properly. | ||
| As for the folding stacking doors, only select meranti is used and perfectly crafted to suit your home. We are the only company with a patented fully adjustable doorframe to overcome all expansion and contraction problems. We estimate that meranti expands and contracts by about 3 to 4mm per leaf from summer to winter. After installation our trained staff will show you how easy it is to adjust the frame. All doors have 12mm rebates to overcome weather conditions. All doors are glazed with 6.38mm laminated safety glass marked to comply National Building Regulations Part N, SABC 0137, SABC 0400 and 1263. We offer a choice of full pane, two pane, French (cottage pane or solid panel type). Only Hendersons Afri-fold bottom roller system is used. |
