TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
The steel materials are produced from galvanized sheet or hot dip galvanized, and all the materials confirm the TSE standards. Prior to fabrication, all main structural sections are thoroughly cleaned, pretreated to provide a strong bond between the metal and the paint, and shop painted with a rust inhibiting primer. The UV resistant enamel top coat paint is applied over the primer. All the materials are shop painted before transportation to the field. The door parts are manufactured in the factory in order to be assembled easily without any need of cutting, drilling, welding jobs on the field. The steel frame of the sections completely consists of formed steel profiles which is a patented system and has all the strength calculations. The cladding panels are fixed securely inside of the steel frame by using the special clips profiles. The installation job consists of fixing the premanufactured material together on the field and sitting the door sections over the rails, followed by the tests. Hence, the job lasts in a very short time compared to the conventional methods.

The design of the door construction is a protected design which belongs to our firm. This special construction which maintaines a very light weight system compared to similar doors, also lets the door to be cladded with various type of materials by the help of its frame type design.

Manually operated doors designed to be pushed or towed can be provided where electricity is not available. In fact, they are strongly recommended where the electricity supply is unreliable; our doors open and shut so easily that power is a luxury, not a necessity.

In the event of an electricity failure thedoors can be declutched and pushed manually or towed, because the low friction sealed ball-bearing system in the ground-wheel hubs make them so easy to move.

The hangar doors are of steel framed bolted construction and clad in materials similar to the wall cladding of the hangar, single skin or insulated. The vertical top rollers, two on each door, have sealed roller bearings and run between two full span steel guide rails. There is an enclosed conductor rail running the width of the door opening, and collection of electrical power is achieved by a four wheeled trolley with spring loaded power pick-ups on each door.
