How to Clean Cellular Shades

Wiring is not needed, the power comes from a battery wand inside the headrail. The AA batteries are easily replaced and with normal use only once per year.

For out-of-reach window, media rooms, and just for pure luxury, many of the cellular shades can be motorized with remote controls at a surprisingly affordable price.

Motorization

Top-down operation
This option allows you to maintain privacy and let in natural light.
Top-down/bottom-up operation
This option uses two sets of lift cords to open either from the top down or from the bottom up, or both at the same time.
Continuous cord loop
A continuous cord turns a clutch to raise or lower the shade.
Cordless
Push up the shade to raise it, and pull it down to lower it. Your blinds and shades stay where you put them.
Cordless motorized shades
A motorized lift system operated by remote control. No wiring is required and a convenient timer may be added. These shades are perfect for hard to reach windows
