The equipment in object is composed by an anodized aluminium plate and a set of inserts, anodized aluminium small plates of 5 mm thickness with groove of various dimensions and positions, which
enable to make with the utmost precision the grooves for the invisible hinges housings.
The equipment is used by means of a manual pantograph equipped with a 16 mm diameter miller and an external support ferrule with a 27 mm diameter (normally present on all manual pantographs).
The equipment is provided with no. 6 couples of inserts, which enable to realize, quickly and correctly, the grooves for the 8 types of hinges (code 2010-2015-830-831-829-501-731-930), even on
door or on door-jamb.
For each type of hinge 2 inserts are used: one (A) to make the groovestop and the other (B) to make the internal groove, which is deeper; between the processing of a groove and the other, it will
be enough to replace the rabbet insert, with no further fixing, and to adjust the height of the miller projection on the pantograph.
On each insert is stamped the code, which corresponds to a CEAM hinge.
The fixing of the equipment on the piece to be worked is made by means of 2 clamps: these clamps can be kept always fixed on the equipment by blocking the screws, placed on the plate for this
purpose.
The equipment is provided with extentions (C), that can be assembled together and screwed on the plate, and a ring that, fixed on the extention, can be used as a retainer on the ground of the
distance from where it is needed to place the hinge. It is important to remember that the retainer has to be adjusted according to the kind of work to be done: i.e. on door-jamb, on door, rights
or lefts.
For the proper assembling and use, see the drawings.
IMPORTANT: for the correct assembling of the insert the reference stamped on the plate and the code on the inserts must be on the same side.
