Double floor refers to floors that are installed 10-30 cm above the existing floors of electric, machine, semiconductor handling room and offices. Due to its height, various electric and communication wires may be installed in between the floors without extra installation of pipes and wire trays. Also, for rooms that is highly sensitive to temperature and humidity change such as rooms handling electric equipment and semiconductor equipments, air conditioning system may be easily installed in between the floors with installation of additional ducts.
