Red Oak Flooring

No. 2 Common Oak grade is often the perfect choice where an economical or utility floor is needed or when a maximum number of character marks and grain variations are desired.

No. 1 Common Red Oak grade features more of the natural character markings than either the Clear or Select grades.
No. 1 Common is often specified because of its overall appearance including desireable grain patterns.

Select and Better grade is uniform in appearance, this grade is nearly clear of character marks and color variations. It alows more of the natural characteristics associated with heartwood and sapwood.
