High ceilings make good mezzanine floors.
This home had an extra high ceiling with lots of LOFT SPACE above that. We removed the ceiling, installed a new supporting beam structure just above the small windows.
A new loft space was created, making use of wasted space in the roof.
A double volume lounge area had the potential for a mezzanine floor which was better use of space as an office at home.
