The Ostankino Palace Parquet

Its ensemble had been composed during several centuries and was finished under earl Sheremetiev at the turn of XVIII and XIX centuries. The interiors of the Palace almost entirely preserve their decoration. One of the most remarkable sights of it is the decorative parquet made by hands of Russian serfs under the direction of Ivan Semyonovich Mochalin. The decorative parquet of the Palace went down in history as a unique monument of decorative and interior creative work.
