Alder Flooring

Our hand distressed and pre-finished Knotty Alder Flooring comes in booth solid and engineered. The solid flooring product is available in two colors. Walnut & Saddle.

Walnut color is available as a solid product in 3" & 5" package as a "Nested" random length product with 20 SQ FT per box.

Walnut color is also available as an engineered product in 5" widths only. Once again we have had it packaged in a 20 SQ FT "Nested" random legnth package.

Our hand distress prefinished Saddle color flooring is available in a similar packaging method. The difference here is that we have had the factory add a simulated plug effect to this product. Saddle color flooring comes in a solid wood product in 4" widths only.

Saddle color as an engineered product comes only as a 4" wide product as well.

"Engineered floor", is the term for a solid wood floor atop a plywood backer, adding stability and is designed for an "install and forget" application.

The finish process on all of our Hand Distressed Pre-finished Alder Flooring consists of actual people, not machines, distressing the floor panels prior to finish. Once the distressing is complete the floor panels are stained and finished with 11 coats of Aluminium Oxide floor finish. The reflective sheen has been intentionally kept to a low matt finish to add to our request of a truely old distressed floor look.

All Hand Distressed Pre-Finished Alder Flooring is T&G and End Matched for ease and convience of installation.
