Truwood Engineered wooden floors are not solid wood, instead they are created from multiple layers of veneer and lumber bonded together. The top layer, also called as wear layer, is genuine hardwood and the engineered components underneath make the flooring more stable, easier to install, and more environmentally friendly than traditional solid hardwood flooring. The floors are pre-finished with 7 layer UV cured PU lacquer including two layers of Aluminum Oxide for improved wear resistance. The edges of the flooring are Tongue & Grooved for perfect laying on a sub floor. Truwood Floors come in a variety of options with respect to the thickness of the wear layer 0.6mm, 1.5mm or 3.6mm thick. The engineered component below is also constructed of tropical hardwood with the balancing layer of thickness equal to the wear layer. Truwood Floors are available in two variations - long strip and single strip. Truwood floors are available in a wide range of species.
