Timber of this species is produced regularly but in low volumes as our wood comes from sustainably managed and environmentally responsible sources.
Afromosia wood is also known as The African Teak, Assamela, Obang, Oleo pardo and Kokrouda. It is a tropical timber of the Pericopsis Elata tree. Its color is much brighter than that of Wenge and is recommended for those who prefer lighter colors with the same elegant and exotic style. Brownish yellow with lighter bands of golden brown, Afromosia is both stylish and inspiring. It is a very resistant and durable species, which makes it an excellent choice for many purposes.
