The prices of these small blocks are very low and thus very feasible for small processors who serve the end-users. The cost of transportation is also low because slabs are just stuffed in 20' heavy duty containers without the need for wooden crates and pallets.

The usual sizes are 12"X24"X1.75", 12"X36"X1.75", and 12"X48"X1.75". The last ones can also be used for stair steps. These slabs are especially beneficial to small processors who can cut each small slab vertically on small cutters to make either 2 tiles (7/8") or 3 tiles (1/2") from each slab and then polish them.

 We mine, process, and export cut-to-size unpolished slabs of Sunny Grey marble, which is found in the famous marble quarries of Swat Valley in Pakistan. These are small width slabs which are cut on block cutters. Cutting takes place on the quarry itself thus avoiding double transportation costs to factory and then to sea-port
