Aggregated Marble

Known world wide as Terazzo Tiles, the floors consist of mainly crushed marble pieces and cement. According to the pattern desired to be produced, the crushed, sieved and washed marbles are mixed with the definite proportion of cement, also necessary dye is added. The mixture is poured into the different sized moulds under high pressure. After the solidification period they are preceded regarding to the desired floor type.THE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY OF FLOORS All of these products consist of two layers. The upper layer consists of marble or granite aggregates, black or white cement, and if needed colouring pigment mixture, and the lower layer consists of sand, grit used in road surfacing and black cement. Production Steps :Suitable aggregates for the desired pattern are crushed at the necessary sizes, sieved and washed. Upper layer is prepared according to the standard mixture formula. Lower layer is prepared according to the standard mixture formula. Before pressed moulding, the upper layer is poured every time at equal amounts with automatic dosage machines. By vibration it is made to be arranged in proper positions and air bubbles are diminished. Lower layer is placed into the mould. Pressing will take place. After establishing the 500 tones powered pressure, it is waited for the solidification, (between 8-12 days depending on the atmospheric conditions) After having the material solidified, it is continued to the process according to the surface type. Special rubbing machines polish polished marble or granite-aggregated floors 13 times. The surfaces of the concrete plates are washed in special washing machines. Surfaces of sandblasting materials are roughened in special sandblasting machines, the edges are bevelled. After the production process has been finalised, floors are packet in boxes and wooden mats for any kind of transportation such as trucks, articulated Lorries, containers and ships. It is very carefully proceeded by placing sytrophor, rubber and cords within the package to prevent any damages while transportation.
