Anton exports his work internationally. He works on a commission basis from his studio in White River, Mpumalanga, where people can visit his gallery

His work is clearly influenced by his personal and close relationship with nature. He has the ability to capture the diversity of nature through simplicity and honesty in his designs.

He has developed and mastered various
innovative techniques in the production of decorative wall pieces. He is especially recognised for his subtle, understated colours, which blends into interesting textures and designs, and which comes alive in every individually created piece. This could only be mastered through hours of dedicated research and the development of various techniques which transformed common ceramic practices into a trademark of a true artist.

ANTON BOSCH - CERAMIC ARTIST

Anton was born in Pretoria on 15 July 1958.
He grew up in a creative environment as the son of the ceramist & artist, Esias Bosch, in the picturesque Lowveld.

He excelled as a student in the art school of the Pretoria Technicon and obtained the Diploma in Art and Design in 1982.

Anton creates individually designed ceramic pieces, which are sought after as collectors items as well as functional, decorative household items. He produces true examples of ceramic works of art which bears his distinctive signature and which can stand alone as objects of art. It is this ability which differentiates his pieces from mainstream pottery or industrial household ceramics.
