Sanyo Brand Mr. Fu-Ji Chen, the second son of Mr. Chuan-Shin Chen, entered building ceramics industry by producing mosaic in 1968. At that time, the kiln stove in practice was still own flame firing kiln which was very tall. Once it was collapsed, Mr. Fu-Ji Chen survived after the accident and rented a factory from Shun-Long Company n 1970 to keep on producing the mosaic. With the slogan of Sanyo makes the world dream, he started to market his mosaic with Sanyo brand, which also brought about another successful career of Chen's porcelain and ceramic family in building ceramic industry.

Without qualified earth and coal, Yingge Town would have by no means become a benchmark of porcelain making place. However, Mr. Chen had brought up the technique of Peitou Bowl to Yingge that had made the city famous, therefore, he was deemed as the initiator of Yingge Porcelain by the town.

Peitou Bowl During that time, everyone was producing the lower quality of ceramic Daina Bowl in Yingge Town, however, Mr. Chuan-Shin Chen, a disciple of Mr. Shozaburo Kamoto, took a risk to produce the higher quality of Peitou Bowl from local clay after he had learned the technique the bowl that he was producing had a better quality than the one he did before, so all the other ceramic makers in Yingge stared to replicate his works.

The Mill began to produce table ware since 1930 and products included crane-patterned bowls made with spin impression mo-deling method.

Artistic porcelain such as vases was the major product of Daitun Kiln. Mr. Kamoto used the traditional Japanese twin-windlass as the energy source to produce ceramics since there was no electricity supply then.

Daitun Firing At early 20 th century, Chen Zhang Yuan Mei settled in today's Guanxi Town in Hsin-chu County in Taiwan and started to learn porcelain marking. She and Mr. Shozaburo Kamoto, the ceramic expert, rented a piece of land from a landlord at a place called Shuimokong in Peitou District and started to produce porcelain products after they found clay there in 1921 and the business had last over 80 years since they first started. Their Daitun Porcelain Mill, also called Shui-Mo Firingor Kamoto Firing by local people, was built in 1923, exporting products to Japan where the products were called Daiton Firing Both Daiton Firing and Peitou Firing created by Mr. Kametaro Matsumoto are two of the biggest development systems in Peitou.
