Cement
Ordinary portland cement (OPC) as per specifications BS 12.
Sulphate resistant cement (SRC) as per specification BS 4027.
Minimum cement used is not less than 400 kg/m3 of concrete.
Water absorption
The maximum limits for water absorption are as follows:

Sizes available are 100mm, 80mm and 60mm.

Compressive strength
The minimum average strength attained is 49N/mm2 and complies with BS 6717.
Color Pigmentation
Average content of inorganic pigment is 5% by weight of the cement used. All pigments comply with BS 1014.
Standard colors available are grey, red, black, tan, beige and yellow.
Custom colors may be produced on request.
All Apex paving tiles comply with specifications, stipulated in local codes No. 44:1990 of Dubai Municipality and conform to BS 6717
