CCA or Tanalith treatment provides a permanent wood preservative against wood decay fungi, wood boring insects, drywood termites, subterranean termites and marine borers.
CCA treatment is suitable for all hazard classes when applied to timber in accordance with SABS Code of Practice 10005.
CCA treated timber is green in colour.
BORON TREATED POLES
Boron is a water soluble wood preservative powder consisting of inorganic borates for permanent protection of timber for interior use - Hazard class 2. It provides protection against wood decay
fungi, wood-boring insects and drywood termites.
Boron treated timber is also suitable for exterior, non-ground contact use Hazard class 3 - provided that the timber is continuosly protected by a suitable sealant.
Boron treated timber is colourless, odourless and clean.
FLAMBOR TREATED POLES
Flambor is a dual purpose treatment providing fire retardation and preservative treatment to timber.
Flambor treatment provides permanent , wide spectrum protection against biological attack and imparts a high degree of fire retardation to timber.
Flambor treated timber is colourless, odourless and clean. Treated timber is less susceptible to shrinking and swelling once dried to equilibrium moisture content levels.
