Rosewood

Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia Latifolia) ranges in color from red, light brown with occasional golden streaks. Instrument grade often displays various shades of purple, burgundy, and medium browns. Exceptionally stable, easy to work with and and is an excellent choice for the first time builder or a master luthier. The tone of this rosewood is highly resonant with a warm bass and has been a favorite choice for back and side sets for manufacturers for over 30 years.
