Due to our buyers demands we were mainly involved in export of sawn spruce timber without KD treatment (so called carcassing or structural timber in sticks) with distribution of width between 50 and 300 mm, thicknesses between 22 and 300 mm and lengths between 2,4 and 7,2 m. It is necessary to mention something about Russian rules also. Our common lengths for logs are 5,4 and 6 m. All others are possible also but due to existing logging practice they are more seldom and usually are more expensive. To get successful cooperation with Russian saw mills you have to provide them with specification with all possible widths in more or less even distribution, main thickness has to be between 42 and 53 mm.
