A 3 sides clean, allow 1 live sound knot to 20mm no heart. Pin knots to 5mm allowed. Sap free, no rot.
A -. Grade same as for A except knots allowed only to 25 mm, small strip of sapwood on backface.
B Grade Main face allows 2 soundlive knots up to 25mm. Same on back face. Sapwood allowed. No rot.
C Grade Allowed sound live knots to 40 mm, little heart on back face, sap. No rot.
