"Sun-Mar" composting toilets use the natural processes of decomposition and evaporation to recycle human wastes. Waste entering the toilet is over 90% water content, and this is evaporated, and carried back to the atmosphere through the vent system. The small amount of remaining material is converted to fertilizing soil by natural decomposition. By recycling in this way, NO Septic Systems, NO Holding Tanks, and NO Chemicals are needed to handle toilet wastes.
