A variety of may be specified for veneer panels, depending upon the application. Hardboard is the most common and least expensive core and is used primarily in storefront or window applications.
For wall cladding applications, we recommend a water-insensitive substrate such as cement board or corrugated plastic. For fire rated requirements a veneer panel with cement board core is
incombustible.
Veneer panels are available with one or both sides finished in any of our standard or custom , and we will provide them either in stock sheets or cut to size. It is usually less expensive to order
them cut to size.
High Standards line of ? (nominal) glazing panels are used instead of glass in storefront, window and curtainwall glazing applications. We also offer a molding system so that our veneer panels can be used as wall cladding in applications such as fascia/soffits or entranceways. Moldings can be painted to match the panel color.
