The Canon SX20 IS is not a huge leap forward from the SX10 IS; the only substantial difference is the inclusion of a high-definition movie mode capable of shooting video clips in 720p resolution. The SX20 IS also has an HDMI output for best-quality connections to HDTVs. If the SX20 isn't too different from the SX10, that's alright, since it was a very popular and successful camera. Whether you pick one over the other largely depends on your preference for high-def video.
