The PL adapters were made especially for Illumina lenses but can work for other old bayonet mount lenses. The idea is to find excellent old lenses, which are on the market for good prices, and adapt them for nowadays use.
The PL stands for "positive lock". It is the successor mount to the Arri Bayonet.
Please make a note these are special screws with a flat head so after you put them in they should not protrude above the mount surface.
However, we don't have the screws and buyer will have to supply them himself.
The other way to attach it to old bayonet lens is with the 6 holes drilled arount it.
The adapter comes with 5mm screws for tightening it to the lens without any pressure on the lens focus inner cylinder.
