The KAF-22000CE CCD image sensor, which is tailored specifically to Sinar requirements, features 4080 x 5440 pixels, each with an edge length of 9 ?. This 4:3 aspect ratio rectangular sensor has a total silicon surface area of 38.8mm x 50.0mm (1.5" x 2.0"), which makes it suitable for applications as the digital replacement of film in 645 medium format camera systems, without the need for significant changes in focal lengths.
 
 
  

Sinar is the only company that offers a large-format sensor with a resolution of 22,195,200 pixels.
In rectangular format, this is equivalent to double the resolution of other photo sensors currently available on the market.
