Not just for viewing your composition, you can use the LCD for Live View as well as video mode. The Canon 500D boasts a Full HD (1080p) movie mode for a spectacular movie making experience. You also have the choice to record in lower quality videos both 720p and VGA resolutions are also available. For your viewing pleasure, you can connect via the HDMI connection to any HDTV without fuss.
