IMAZIC is a Korea's premiere game developer for Internet, wireless, handheld, and video consoles. In 1996, IMAZIC took the initiative to facilitate Network Virtual Reality Technology (now called "Pangaea") that was introduced to Korean Internet game market under Korean Government support program assisted by KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). As the Network Virtual Reality Technology includes Korea's first 3D graphic engine, distributed server network and tool management, it became the solid stepping stone for many internet game developers to produce their games. In 2000, IMAZIC was established by Dr. Yang who built Pangaea technology that was market proven, and made its first MMORPG, "Sephiroth" using same technology, Pangaea. The game turned successful. In 2001, IMAZIC secured equity investments from venture capital companies for the purpose of expansion of its operation to expand. It continued to develop games since then and began to provide outsourced development services to other developers and publishers in Asia successfully based on milestones of fully fledged game title projects.
