The suspens ion joint is located on the opposite side to the guide joint, mounted in the steering knuckle. It absorbs forces in all directions. Suspens ion joints can be mounted suspended or standing upright.The ball of the ball stud glides between prestressed, permanently lubricated plastic shells. The cage is mainly attached inside the torque rod, and the ball stud is attached to the steering knuckle via its ball or a cylindrical stud. This bearing does not require any maintenance. The sealing bellow packed with special grease protects the as sembly from dirt and water.
