This HDMI coupler is designed to make sure that there is no signal loss when coupling two HDMI cables together. In the manufacturing process we have figured out that we have a good amount of extra space inside the adapter. So instead of using a 2630 gauge wiring inside (like most companies do) or a 24 gauge wiring like we used to do, we have decided to get as close to impossible as we can? We have used 18 gauge wiring!
