SILENT GENSETS

Sound Attenuated canopies are available to reduce the sound level of DG sets to conform to the strictest environment and pollution control norms. Jeevan Diesels can reduce the noise to an environmentally acceptable level with purpose designed acoustic enclosures and sound attenuators. This may be necessary in residential areas, office complexes, hospitals, universities and in certain cases to comply with the by-laws and regulations. The canopies are manufactured from acoustic panels having a mild steel outer skin. Lined with medium density rockwool with white tissue facing to prevent particle migration and a protective inner skin from pre-galvanized perforated sheet. Attenuated air inlet duct and fixed blade acoustic louvre. Air outlet from the radiator with canvas plenum. Side access doors are fitted with stainless steel lockable slam catches and two grease nipple hinges per door. Perspex viewing windows are available. A matching exhaust silencer with tailpipe is fitted on the roof and is designed to provide exhaust attenuation equal to that of the enclosure. All steel components are thoroughly cleaned and treated with rust resistant primer, undercoated and finished with industrial paint in colors to suit customers requirements. All these enclosures are supplied complete with crane lifting points, interior lighting, personnel access doors and a readily accessible output power terminal box.
