Underground Cable

Underground CableHendrix Wire & Cable, a premier provider of high quality overhead and underground power distribution products, offers a complete product portfolio for the wind power industry. The portfolio includes the 34.5 kV TRXLP-insulated medium voltage underground cable and Spacer Cable for primary distribution systems. The 34.5 kV underground cables are available in both aluminum and copper conductor. Standard conductor sizes range from 1/0 through 1250 kcmil in full and reduced concentric neutral configurations. Spacer Cable Systems can be used when topography or soil conditions make underground distribution systems too expensive. Project costs and construction time can be reduced by designing multiple circuits on a single pole and through reduced right-of-way requirements. Underground cable is made and tested to meet ICEA/AEIC Standards and is dry-cure, triple-extruded.
