This is a light armoured cable for aerial installation. The corrugated steel tape armouring provides good protection against rodents yet allows the cable to retain outstanding
flexibility for easy installation.

A suspension steel wire integrated (integral bearer) with the sheath creates the characteristic "figure-8" profile well known for easy installation.
|
|
It can be supplied with 4 to 96 fibers; either single-mode, multimode or both.
|
|
High packing density of the fibers are provided by the ribbon technology. This permits small outer diameter for the cable despite the large fiber count.
|
|
The slotted core cable has high crush load resistance. The radial shape of the slotted core profile provides an effective cavity for the ribbons to rest in.
|
|
Water blocking filling compound prevents water penetration along the cable.
