Photovoltaic Bifacial and Monofacial Solar Cells and Modules

Gamma has proven and readily available technology for the high volume production of bifacial PV solar cells with >16% efficiencies at low cost. Bifacial performance at monofacial costs.  The ability of a solar cell to be bifacial requires that the back surface field is conformed in the diffusion stage of the manufacturing process. The technological advantages are due to the boron diffusion of the c-Si P-Type or N-type wafer substrate, etching, contacts and the anti-reflective coatings of SiNx incorporated on both sides. Our Bifacial cells generate more electricity by converting direct, radiant and scattered solar energy on both, the front and the back side. These result in higher output per mass of crystalline silicon, therefore higher "power density". Gamma has a patent pending for the cost effective mass production process to make thin bifacial cells and another patent pending for a near 100% bifacial cell with >17% efficiencies on both sides.
