Niking Technology Co., Ltd. recently launched a new type of photovoltaic module production line, initially with an annual capacity of 50 megawatts. The new module adopting original creations of nanotechnology can automatically protect out-layer glass from dust, acid rain and pollution in adverse natural conditions without prejudice to light transmission. This function ensures the conversion efficiency so that it can increase the electrical output and save cost of labor and manual maintenance.

The new protective layer of glass, using domestic self-developed ultra-fine silicon molecular nanotechnology, coated on outer-layer glass, functions as along-term defendant against UV and weathering. The utilization is up to 20 years, which is beyond modules' life normally.

The new waterproof and dustproof photovoltaic module has been applied for national patent as an initiation in China.
