These are great for big water pumping projects, water heating, large scale remote region projects such as shopping complexes, hospitals, farming machinery, water purification systems, floodlights, environment data monitoring systems, street lighting, among others.
Due to their often being utilized in large scale projects, these do require high quality, high capacity charge controllers, and normally will work in conjunction with inverters, as they normal power AC loads.
Unlike all the previous panels mentioned above, these have dome-shaped lenses and are mono-crystalline (although there is also the option of polycrystalline), resulting in a conversion of up to 17-18%. These advanced dome-shaped lenses drastically increase the amount of sunlight focused onto a small block of cells. Hence, this solar panel requires fewer cells per panel, less amount of silicon (significantly reducing costs as silicon is notoriously pricey), which all increase the voltage and efficiency, as shown in the conversion above. Similar to the 90 Watt module , the aforementioned information makes them a remarkable choice for purchase on a very large scale.
