Shake Test Syringe
The Shake Test syringe is a unique device used to extract fault gases from the oil by mixing the oil sample with ambient air. The resulting gas sample is then injected in the Myrkos analyzer for
rapid measurement of the fault gases. Atmospheric components can also be analyzed using helium as the extracting gas (supplied with optional 02/N2 kit).
ASTM D 3612 and ISO 60567 solely recognize Gas Chromatography for making reliable DGA measurements. Through compliance with these requirements, the MYRKOS Portable DGA MicroGC offers you
traceability, reliability and peace of mind.

MYRKOS uses Micro Gas Chromatography, a technology that rapidly separates samples in their individual components prior to measurement. Analysis time is 2 minutes and overall sample to sample throughput is 4 times faster than other available solutions.
Simply fasteris easy to use and generates reliable reports in minutes; data is automatically stored electronically and can be printed or exported in .csv format to third party software and to Morgan Schaffer's new MS Oil LIMS web based application.
MYRKOS is supplied with the control and database management software. Designed for both the new user and experienced instrument operator, is available in 6 different languages. The software also supports 7 oil types, each featuring its own set of solubility coefficients, thus providing gas-in-oil measurements of the highest precision and accuracy.
The MYRKOS Portable DGA MicroGC is used with Morgan Schaffer's Shake Test syringe to analyze oil samples within 2 minutes.
