Distribution Transformers

EMO transformer factory started its regular production of transformers in 1979.

Production of distribution, oil immersed transformers, rated power up to 10,000 kVA;  special types of transformers rectifier units, rectifier transformers, arc suppression coils; epoxy resin cast transformers of rated power up to 2,000 kVA, etc.

Its annual production capacity is about 1000 MVA.


Today EMO Transformer Factory employs 300 people.


High organization structure, quality control and development of the products have been ensured by a high skilled and experienced team of engineers.


Transformer design, technological preparation, production control and testing are aided by a central
computer system.


The design and manufacture of transformers comply with the relevant international standards (IEC, ISO, BS, ANSI, CSA, DIN) and are subject to constant development and improvements following the latest achievements for this type of equipment.


The licensed products include oil filled distribution transformers in the range 50 kVA to 1600 kVA having a maximum system highest voltage of 36 kV.

Total available area 12,868 m2, out of which 8,895 m2 belong to  production halls.
