Its biggest advantage is to be friendly with many UTP cable sizes: from AWG20 to AWG30, you won't worry anymore to find out if the balun's holes will fit your UTP cable !

No AC power or batteries needed, bidirectional signal conversion and ultraminiature enclosure, the Torpedo balun is designed to terminate wires by hand, without punchdown tool. It is a fast and really easy installation.
