VACUUM PRESSURE RESIN IMPREGNATED DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS ? PME Transformers (India) Ltd. has been manufacturing dry type transformers for the last one decade, spread over F, H & C class insulation with silicon varnish impregnation. ? In order to upgrade the technology and to offer a superior transformer to the customer, PME has come out with another range of transformers, employing a more reliable impregnation system, using epoxy resin namely vacuum pressure impregnation system (VPI), ranging from 100 KVA to 2000 KVA, with primary voltage at 11 KV and secondary voltage up to 6.6 KV ? This VPI impregnation system with epoxy resin ensure higher Reliable technology, Mechanical strength, cooler operation, improved earth tracking resistance and is unaffected by humidity and chemical or salt laden environments.
