Transparent architectures The Premium platform provides transparent exchanges between the various devices in the architecture. This unique advantage makes it possible to communicate with any other station on the network as if it were physically connected to the terminal or the PLC. Any object in the application (program , variable, I/O, etc) becomes very easy to access. The designer uses a function block to exchange data. The protocol is transparently managed by the application. By integrating Ethernet TCP/IP technologies, Premium supports Transparent Factory architectures and removes the need for the proprietary networks in favor of universal standards. High performance machines Premium's high performance levels can substantially increase machine efficiency. The use of high density cards (64 I/O), together with the Telefast pre-wiring system, rationalizes the design and manufacture of enclosures. Telefast 2 fast connection Telefast 2 can be used for the fast connection of I/O modules (discrete,analog, counter). It replaces the terminal blocks in enclosures and provides direct 2 or 3-wire connection of the machine sensors and actuators (distribution of the commons). Telefast is connected directly to Premium high density cards via prefabricated cables. This leads to a significant reduction in wiring and testing costs. The Telefast range includes all types of fixed and removable transistor and relay interfaces.
