Dispatch
Hi-Tech has in house facility to stuff 20 or 40 feet containers. Radiators for local clients are dispatched by road in trucks.
Packing
Radiators are packed in strong wooden cases as per customer or client location.
Radiators can be packed in crates using rubber wood
Radiators can also be shipped in sea worthy crates.
Special requirement of pine wood packing can also be provided.
Radiators packed in wooden crates for container shipment.
Every radiator manufactured by Hi-Tech has a unique number punched on the radiator. This number helps in maintaining the quality and records of the jobs. With this unique number the entire history
of the radiator can be derived, form the workers name who have worked on the radiator or the time at which different inspections were carried out with inspector name or the time interval between
two coats of paint.
Hi-Tech has a well established quality system accredited by ISO 9001:2000 by ANAB. Hi-Tech has a stringent incoming material and in-process quality plan. Routine Inspection.
All radiators after assembly undergo a full dimensional check.
All radiators are pressure tested at 2.5 Kg/cm2 individually under water for a period of one hour.
After painting the paint thickness is measured on all radiators. Paint peal off test as per ASTM 33 59 83 is performed on randomly selected radiators. Type Test on Radiators.
Radiators are type tested for leakage against hot transformer oil at 105?C at 1 Kg/ cm2 for a period of 12 hours.
The Radiators are type tested to withstand vacuum of 5.0mm Hg absolute for one hour and permanent deflection measured at the center should not exceed 0.5mm.
QUALITY :
External Coating: Surface Treatment: radiators are grit blasted after pressure testing. Grit blasting ensures that the entire surface area is cleaned and no contamination, oil
traces or rust is left out. The grit blasting process also gives the necessary profile which facilitates paint adhesion on metal. The radiators are grit blasted to Sa 2 ? as per ISO 8501 or
SSPC-SP-10.
Hi-Tech can offer the following paint systems as per customer requirement.
Radiators externally coated with synthetic Enamel paint as per IS 2***, final paint shade as per client specifications.
Radiators externally coated with Epoxy paint, final paint shade as per client specifications.
Radiators externally coated with Zinc rich primer+ Epoxy MIO + polyurethane paint, final paint shade as per client specifications.
Spray galvanized Radiators and coated with any of the above mentioned paint systems.
Only Hot dip galvanized as per DIN 50976.
Hot dip galvanized as per DIN 50976 and coated with any of the above mentioned paint systems.
Hi-Tech can offer paint system that can fulfill any of the ISO 12944 Global Corrosion standard.
Internal Coatings : Hi-Tech can offer a verity of option for internal coating of radiator.
Surface Treatment: The radiators are first thoroughly cleaned with wire brush followed by dry air purging to ensure all the dust is thrown out of the radiator. After dry air purging an
electromagnet in inserted in the header pipe to ensure that no metallic contamination is allowed to remain inside the header pipe. After the cleaning following internal coats can be applied.
Radiators internally coated with phenolic resin based hot oil resistant varnish with a temperature index of 120 ?C.
Radiators internally coated with primers.
Transformer Oil.
Hi-Tech can offer radiators with a Varity of internal and external coatings.
Construction of Radiators
1. 520/380/355/300 mm wide radiators using Cold rolled carbon steel (CRCA) as well as stainless steel sheets of grade 304L and 314L. The standard thickness of sheet are 1.00mm and 1.2mm thick.
Special customer request of higher sheet thickness can also be incorporated.
2. Center to center distances of range from 600mm to 35000mm. All the elements are held in position with bracing straps. Hi-Tech can provide 8mm or 10mm Dia bright rod or 25mm x 6mm mild steel flat
for the purpose of bracing as per DIN 42559.
3. 40mm/ 45mm and 50 mm pitch.
4. Header of 88.9 mm OD (DN80) and 114mm OD(100mm NB) as per DIN 2394.
5. Varity of accessories fitted on the radiators. Different type of air and oil release plugs can be offered as per IEEMA or DIN standards. Specific client requirements regarding accessories can
also be incorporated. Fan support brackets can also be provided on the radiators.
