High performance coils for cast resin transformers

On request, the coils can be supplied in compliance with self-extinguishing class F1, (cfr. standard CEI 14-8 appendix B).

The coils are constructed in accordance with CEI 14-8 / IEC 726 standards

Ourcoils normally have a cylindrical shape with tapping links located onone side. For lower power ratings and for low-voltage transformers,coils can also be supplied with rectangular shapes as presented in thephoto.

Forsmaller power ratings, the coils are produced with enamelled wire,using the vertical concentric coiling technique as illustrated in thephoto.
Thanks to the use of this technique, our coils featurethermal dissipation values approximately 12% higher than those found intraditional layer windings with insulation and moreover present adecrease in coil volume of about 8-12%, depending on each specificsituation.
The windings we produce with this technique have been successfullysubmitted to repeated impulse voltage tests and then over-poweredwith induced voltage (at 200Hz) up to three times the value of ratedvoltage.

WIRE WINDINGS

The coils are produced with enamelled wire, using the vertical concentric coiling.
