Transformers TMVA with the power of 100, 160, 250 kVA, with the voltage 10 kV can be special, stationary, step-up, three-phase, double-winding and oil with water
cooling. They are intended for anode equipment supply.
Climatic conditions correspond to State Standard Specification15150:
ambient temperature is from +10C to +40C;
environment is nonexplosive without any current-conducting dust;
height of installation above sea level is no more than 1000 meters;
mode of operation is continuous;
transformers are not intended for operation in the conditions of shaking, vibration and snatching and in reactive environment.

Transformer composition and structure:
Transformer consists of:
tank with water pockets;
tank cover;
active part.
Transformer tank is rectangular. There are pockets for water cooling on long side of the tank. Tank is supplied with a plug for taking an oil sample and oil drain and plate for transformer
grounding. Outer tank surface is usually painted with atmosphere resistant white or light-grey colors (change of color is possible). All transformer sealings are made of oil-resistant rubber.
Tank cover is also rectangular. There are the following components on the cover:
high-voltage and low-voltage bushings;
bails for transformer active part lifting;
relief valve.
Transformer active part has stiffening with transformer cover. Active part consists of core, high-voltage and low-voltage windings, lower and upper yoke pressing bars, high-voltage and low-voltage
taps. Core is plane laminated with shoulder section of rod and is made of cold-rolled steel plates. Windings are layered cylindrical. They are made of rectangular section wire with paper or glass
polyester insulation. Interlayer insulation is made of cable paper. Lower and upper yoke pressing bars are made of structural steel. High-voltage winding bushings are made of round or rectangular
section wire, low-voltage winding bushings are made of rectangular bus rod.
