As a part of its ambitious growth plans this is the latest venture of Shilchar Technologies Ltd. With this foray into Distribution Transformers and Power Transformers Shilchar becomes the only company in the world where transformers are available in capacities ranging from 1VA to 15MVA.

STL Transformers are made under a stringent stage wise QA plan covering incoming inspection in process and pre-despatch inspection and using state of the art production and testing facilities. It has a team of qualified and experienced professionals to augment all activities, and can manufacture and test transformers upto 66KV Class and 15MVA capacity. STL has manufacturing capacity of 1000 MVA per annum at present. Further capacity expansion is on the anvil. The Transformers are type test certified for Temperature Rise, Lightning Impulse Voltage with stand test, short circuit withstand test. The tests have been carried out by Government approved testing Laboratories.
