Their dielectric constants are usually, but not necessarily, greater than 3500 and are available in Z5U and X5U temperature characteristic codes. These capacitors find application in by-pass, coupling, and other uses where dielectric losses, high insulation resistance,and capacitance stability are not of major concern.
