CONSTRUCTION
The capacitors are manufactured with element wound utilizing Carona Ring design (extended foil design) and the winding is done under controlled atmospheric conditions to give a high reliability performance and extended service life. The inside edge of aluminium foil is folded on itself and other edge of the foil is extended beyond the BOPP film. NON PCB synthetic insulating fluid is used for impregnation, which is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. The internal elements of capacitors are protected by internal / external fuses.. The wet process porcelain, bushings are glazed for high strength and durability and are hermetically sealed to the capacitor container. The capacitor container is formed from cold mild steel with polyurethane light grey paint finish to protect from corrosion from atmosphere.
