High Reliability and Stability
It is well known that natural mica is extremely stable against heat. SIR-MICA uses selected ruby mica form india optimum electrical characteistics to manufacture SIR-MICA Dipped Mica Capacitors.
The silvered film is made by printing electrodes on mica film with silver paste. Silvered films are stacked up to the desired capacitance and fitted with external lead terminals. The element is dipped with a phenolic compound that preserves the excellent characteristics of mica without deforming the mica element. The coating is then vacuum-impregnated with epoxy-resin having high moisture and heat resistance, thus forming a mechanically strong envelope. The design assures both high reliability and stability.
