PLASTIC CASES, SEALED WITH RESIN, FOR AC APPLICATIONSWORKING VOLTAGES UP TO 500VAC, 50/60 HZAPPLICATION:General purpose for single phase AC loads such as fans, motors, etc. CONSTRUCTION:The capacitor elements are formed by winding low loss, self healing, metallised polypropylene film on thermoplastic cores. High speed computerised winding machines are used for this purpose. The film tension is maintained at a constant value throughout the winding process thereby totally excluding air from the windings. CONTAINER: Cylindrical cases made out of flame retardant thermoplastic material meeting flammability UL 94-V2.ENCAPSULATION: The capacitors are encapsulated in resin (non-P.C.B.)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------TECHNICAL DATA:SERIES: MP51, MP61, MP62, MP71, MP81, MP91.STANDARD: IEC 252 (1975), VDE 0560-8, UL 810.TERMINATION:For cases dia 25 mm: Single 2.8 mm tags, flexible wires.For cases dia 30 mm and above: Single 2.8 mm tags, single or multiple 6.3 mm quick connect tags, flexible wires. FIXING: Mounting stud M8x10 mm for cases up to diameter 45 mm. CAPACITANCE TOLERANCE: + 5%, + 10% (other tolerances available on request) RATED VOLTAGE: 250 to 500 VAC. FREQUENCY: 50/60 Hz DISSIPATION FACTOR: Less than .0005 at 50 Hz TEST VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS: 1.5 Un for 10 seconds TEST VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS AND CONTAINER: 3 kV 50 Hz for 1 minute
