-Advantage: No red grow so no one can see it
-Disadvantage: Low IR spectrum. Not good for being IR lightsources. Only good for being as a transmiter in remote control
Red Glow 850nm:
-Advantage: high output . Good for IR light source
-Disadvantage: can be seem in short distance
