This kit is ported by Linux 2.4.19 Kernel and Windows CE.net 4.2. The GNU/Linux distribution offers a compact, high reliability implementation of Linux for developing products. The source code of Linux kernel 2.4.19 and device driver for peripherals will beprovided. The Windows CE.net 4.2 eboot kernel and BSP for 6.4" Color TFT LCD, USB2.0 Host, USB1.1 Client, Two 10/100Mbps Ethernet Port, Two UARTs, AC' 97 will be provided.

The PXA255-Pro3 is supported with Development and Training Kits for the leading embedded operating systems including windows CE.NET, Embedded Linux. To speed up the process of system design, you can purchase PXA255- Pro3 ased on Linux and Windows CE.net. The PXA255-Pro3 TM includes 128MB SDRAM, 32MB Flash Memory, PCMCIA, CF, 6.4" Color TFT LCD, USB2.0 Host OTG, USB1.1 Client, Two 10/100Mbps Ethernet Port, Two UARTs, AC' 97, Keypad, LED, Bluetooth Module, GPS Modules. Linux and Windows CE.net 4.2 are ported on PAX255-Pro3 Embedded System. It has JTAG and MulitICE port for debugging software.

The Embedded System, PXA255-ProTM, is an ultra low power single board computer based on the Intel 400MHz PXA255 XScale RISC processor. The PXA255 is an implementation of the ARM compliant, Intel XScale microarchitcture combined with a comprehensive set of integrated peripherals including, a flat panel graphics controller, DMA controller, interrupt controller, real time clock and multiple serial ports.
